Connecting a computer to the Internet has never been easier with DialMaine. A dial up session connects you to DialMaine's fully redundant and diversely routed connections to the global Internet. This ensures you a connection every time because we do not and will not "oversubscribe" our network.

Most ISP's sign up many, many more customers than could possibly all use their network at the same time. Currently, the subscriber-to-capacity ratio at most ISPs hovers around 20:1. That means for every one modem an ISP has for you to dial into, they sign up 20 people to use it. We believe those kinds of profit-motivated business practices lead to a lot of unhappy customers hearing busy signals as they fight with 19 others to gain access to the same modem. We believe that DialMaine will be more successful in the long run, with a satisfied client base than with over-stuffed wallets.

Over subscription makes sense to large, uncaring, out-of-state companies, but we feel it's just not the way to do business in Maine. We know first hand. Our staff at DialMaine has decades of combined work experience at over 15 other local ISPs. That's why our network and business model is based on a much lower, 5:1 ratio. This means that at peak-use periods, DialMaine customers are several hundred times more likely to connect to our network than any other service. Web browsing at home has never been easier to reach.
