Letter to MPDU Customers

The following letter was recently mailed to current MPDU customers in order to offer them a chance to switch to DialMaine before MPDU services are switched off.

Dear MPDU customer,

As an MPDU customer you’ve come to rely upon our dialup services for your Internet access. Since August of 2003, MPDU has used DialMaine’s network to provide toll-free statewide access to MPDU customers.

Unfortunately MPDU Internet LLC has been unable to meet it’s contractual payment requirements. As of November 30th, 2003, MPDU went into default on its contractual arrangement with DialMaine. DialMaine has continued to provide services in hopes that MPDU would resolve its financial problems and avoid any interruption in service to its customers. Because satisfactory payment arrangements have not been made DialMaine will terminate this relationship on February 1, 2004.

Therefore as a responsible partner in MPDU I would like to personally invite you to continue uninterrupted, the reliable and quality dialup service you have come to expect by dealing directly with DialMaine.

DialMaine is a customer-focused, locally owned and operated business, committed to delivered the best possible Internet experience. I have personal experience with the DialMaine staff and can vouch for the quality of their Customer Service approach and delivery. You will not find a more friendly and dedicated staff.

If you wish to continue uninterrupted service, please contact DialMaine at 1-800-MAINE-800 (that is 1-800-624-6380) to continue receiving the quality service you’ve come to depend upon.

If you are a pre-paid MPDU customer give the promotional code of “MPDU-PD1.” DialMaine representatives will honor any remaining prepaid amount you paid to MPDU prior to November 1st. If you are a month-to-month customer, give the promotional code of “MPDU-MM1.” In either case, DialMaine representatives will honor your current price with MPDU for the next 6 months, if you are paying with a credit card or electronic check.

As an extra incentive, call before February 1st, 2004 and DialMaine will provide a free one-month service credit to your account!

Please pick up the phone and call DialMaine at 1-800-MAINE-800 now. Customer service representatives will setup a DialMaine account for you and answer any questions you may have! My sincere wish is to insure your uninterrupted service while allowing you to cut out the middleman and receive your customer support and service directly from the source.
