Dial-up connections are not to be considered permanent connections. Dial-up service is a shared resource, and customers are expected to act accordingly. If we feel a customer is utilizing too much of the network; we will contact the customer, and/or suspend service.

We do not anticipate any difficulties with accessing our services. However, if a customer is unable to use our service for a significant period of time, through no fault of his or her own, we may apply a credit to the customer's account. All credits are at the discretion of DialMaine.

DialMaine will not be responsible for any long distance, or other phone line charges incurred in the use of this service. Our 500 service should prevent this from occurring. However, telephone-billing errors may occur. We will make every attempt to ensure that the customers do not receive long distance charges. However any issues with phone charges should be directed to your phone company. Please note that use of our National 800 number service does incur a per minute charge.

DialMaine will not be found liable for the actions of its customers while utilizing their service. If DialMaine is found liable for any damages occurring to the customer, that liability shall not exceed the amount due to DialMaine for services rendered to that customer.

DialMaine will not attempt to monitor nor log the destinations nor activities of customers connected to their network. However, Dial Maine is required by law to cooperate fully with any law enforcement agencies that are investigating our clients. This may include real time logging of connections and activities.
