System Requirements

The following is a list of the minimum requirements needed to connect to DialMaine. If your machine does not make these requirements, we may still be able to assist you.

Windows

• Windows 95 or higher
• 486 processor or better
• 16 MBs of RAM or higher
• 14.4 kbps modem or better
• 100 MBs or higher free hard drive space

Macintosh

• OS 7.5 or higher
• Open Transport
• 14.4 kbps modem or better
• 100 MBs or higher free hard drive space

Linux

Due to the variety of Linux distributions and the various hardware on which Linux will run, we cannot provide telephone support for your Linux computer. We will be happy to help you debug the problem if you believe something is broken on our end. Most modern distributions such as RedHat, Mandriva and Debian should work fine with our network.
